Liam Lacey, a sportswriter from Ireland, has been passionate about sports for as long as he can remember, with a special love for GAA, football, and tennis.
Growing up, Mayo football has played a huge role in Liam’s life. He has lived through the highs of thrilling victories and the lows of heart-wrenching defeats, sharing in the rollercoaster of emotions that all Mayo supporters know so well as the county continues its quest to lift the Sam Maguire once more. Could this be the year they finally break through?
Liam is also an avid tennis enthusiast, captivated by the incredible dominance of Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, who have taken men’s tennis to extraordinary heights for an entire generation.
When he's not writing about sports, Liam enjoys unwinding with a good movie or TV show. While he still attempts to kick a football around, he’s come to accept that his talents lie more in writing and talking about the game than playing it!
