Emanuel Navarrete is a three-weight World champion having previously been the WBO Super Bantamweight World Champion, and the WBO Featherweight title holder. The 29-year-old is currently the WBO Super Featherweight champion.
He made his professional debut in February 2012 and won his first World Championship in December 2018, when he beat Isaac Dogboe for the WBO Super Bantamweight Championship. He defended that title five times until he won the WBO Featherweight title in October 2020. He then won the WBO Super Featherweight Championship against Liam Wilson in February 2023. He has had two defences of that title since his win, beating Oscar Valdez in their first fight, before drawing with Robson Conceicao in September 2023. Navarrete moved up to Lightweight in May 2024 and fought Ukrainian fighter Denys Berinchyk for the vacant WBO Lightweight Championship but lost by split decision. Navarrete has a professional record of 41 fights, with 38 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw against Robson Conceicao.

Oscar Valdez made his professional debut in 2012 and since then, has gone on to become a two weight World champion. He was the WBO Featherweight champion from 2016-2019 and the WBC Super Featherweight champion from 2021 -2022. Valdez has also had the distinction of representing Mexico in two Olympic Games, at Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

He defended that belt once before dropping it to Shakur Stevenson in April 2022, his first professional loss. He then suffered his second defeat when he was convincingly beaten by Navarrete in their first fight for the WBO Super Featherweight Championship.
