arsenal-vs-luton-epl-prediction

For Round 30, I got four predictions right out of ten, but I do feel that I was a tad unlucky - especially with Newcastle scoring in injury time, Chelsea failing to beat 10-men Burnley, and Fulham failing to beat whipping boys Sheffield United. Anyway, that round is behind us and I do not have time to dwell as Round 31 of the Premier League is quickly approaching. I am going to look at five matches from this round of fixtures, with the first one being Arsenal vs Luton Town. Read on to find out how I think this one will go.

🏆 Arsenal vs Luton Town: Who Will Win?

Arsenal had a big game against Manchester City at the weekend, and it was a game that they really could not afford to lose. They managed to hold City to a 0-0 draw, which is a result that Mikel Arteta probably would have taken had he been offered it before the first ball was kicked. There was very little to be had when it came to entertainment value. In fact, the most hyped-up game of the weekend was the most boring. To have all that talent on display and only have three shots on target is pretty poor - Arsenal parked the bus and got what they came for, a point.

Luton took on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon and, like most of Luton's games this season, it was an entertaining game to watch. Much better than the dross served up at the Etihad the following day. Luton gave Spurs a very good run for their money and were lucky not to come away with at least a point. If they keep playing like that between now and the end of the season, then they stand every chance of staying up.

Arsenal will not park the bus against Luton Town, and I expect them to go on and win the match. Although, Luton will make them work for it as they do not roll over for anyone. As for the score prediction, I think that this will finish 3-1 in Arsenal's favour.

My Prediction: 🏆Arsenal 3 Luton Town 1 ⚽

💯 Arsenal vs Luton Town Match Odds

When these two teams met at the start of December, they put on one of the most entertaining games of the season. The Gunners went on to win the match 4-3, courtesy of a Declan Rice goal in the 7th minute of injury time. This was heart-breaking for the Hatters, but it proved to them that they could compete against the big boys of the EPL.

Below you can find the recent competitive odds that five top established and new UK betting sites are offering for this reverse fixture between Arsenal and Luton. The odds that you will see for the match winner, over/under 2.5 goals, and both teams to score markets have been based off current form and previous head-to-head meetings.

Arsenal vs Luton Town: Match Winner Odds

Since Arsenal are battling it out to win the EPL title and Luton Town are sitting in the Relegation Zone, it will not be a shock to find out that the Gunners are the overwhelming favourites. In all honesty, while I do think that Arsenal will win, I feel that the odds for a Luton win are a little bit harsh. It is very rare to see such long odds for a Premier League team to win a match. Arsenal vs Luton Town: Both Teams To Score Odds

In the majority of Premier League football matches, the top sports betting sites will back both teams to find the back of the net. However, in this match, the bookies believe that Arsenal will be the only team to score. This is fair enough when you consider Arsenal's defensive record this season, but I do think that they will get a consolation goal for their efforts. You can check out the both teams to score odds below:

Arsenal vs Luton Town: Over/Under 2.5 Goals Odds

The bookmakers are adamant that there will be at least three goals in this match, and they are also pretty sure that there is a good chance of there being four goals scored. Since they do not think that Luton will score and are heavily backing an Arsenal win, these odds tell us that they think the Gunners will win this match 3-0 or 4-0. If you are the type of bettor who likes to bet on the total goals, then below are the over/under 2.5 goals odds:

✔️ Arsenal vs Luton Town - Betting Tips

It is always a good move to check out some betting tips from experienced football bettors before you bet on a match as the more educated you become about a match, the higher your chances will be of success. Although, as always, bear in mind that winning is never something that is guaranteed. Below you will be able to find my betting tips for this Arsenal vs Luton Town match:

  • Tip 1: Bet on Arsenal to win: Arsenal are in better form than Luton Town and have much better players, so everything points towards a win for the home side. However, Luton Town do not roll over for any team, so the Gunners will have to work for the three points. Home advantage should also spur Arsenal on to pick up another win and take one step closer to picking up the EPL title. If you want to back Arsenal to go on and win, then you can find odds of 1.11 for them to come out on top.
  • Tip 2: Bet on both teams to score: The bookmakers do not think that Luton Town will be able to breach Arsenal's defence, which is fair enough as they have conceded just 24 goals in 29 matches. However, I am going to back Luton to at least get on the scoresheet as 80% of their away matches have seen both teams find the back of the net. If you would like to put money on both teams to find the back of the net, then you can find odds of 2.08 available at Mr Mega Sports.
  • Tip 3: Bet on Bukayo Saka to score: Saka missed both of England's matches last week because of an injury but, as expected, he was fit to play on Sunday afternoon. He did not really do an awful lot against City, but he will look forward to playing against a looser defensive unit. He has scored 13 goals in 27 matches this season, and I can see him causing Luton all kinds of issues. If you want to bet on him to score, then LeoVegas Sports are offering odds of 1.96 for him to find the back of the net.
  • Tip 4: Bet on Arsenal to win 3-1: I have no doubt that Arsenal will go on and win this match, but they will not have it all of their own way for 90 minutes. Rob Edwards has Luton playing some entertaining football and they will draw on their previous 4-3 defeat for plenty of encouragement. They have enough about them to score, but Arsenal should go on to win 3-1. You can find odds of 9.70 at Betiton Sport.

Always remember the importance of gambling responsibly when you are placing bets on sports, even if you are making use of free bets. You never want to get into a habit of placing wild bets when you have money available.

1️⃣Arsenal Update

Arsenal have been playing some impressive football in recent weeks, defeating teams with ease, which is why it was pretty disappointing to see them rock up at the Etihad and park the bus. They had a chance to put on a show for football fans around the world, but instead they played how you would expect Burnley or Sheffield to play against Manchester City. They had a chance to stamp their authority on the title chase but acted to play safe instead.

When it comes to form, they are sitting at the top of the form table over the last ten rounds of matches. From the last 30 points that have been on offer, they have managed to collect 25 of them. You can see their previous five EPL results in the table below:

Mikel Arteta has very few injury issues to contend with, and he will be hoping that it remains this way between now and the end of the campaign. You can see his one missing player in the following table:

2️⃣Luton Town Update

Luton might have lost against Spurs at the weekend, but they can take plenty of heart from the way that they performed against a team that has Champions League aspirations this season. In fact, they can take heart from most of their season so far as they have caused many teams a range of problems - they have just not managed to pick up the points to match their performances, so they are now currently languishing in the Relegation Zone with 22 points from the 30 matches that they have played. Their main issue has been conceding goals as only Burnley and Sheffield United have conceded more this season.

When it comes to the form guide, Luton are sitting in 16th place with 6 points from the previous 30 that have been on offer. Below you can see their previous results from the last five EPL matches:
