The three Premier League title contenders are all playing mid-week and Manchester City will travel down to the south coast to take on Brighton at the Amex Stadium. In my opinion, they have come off the boil, and it is hard to see them emulating their impressive work of last season by qualifying for Europe.
Things might not have gone Manchester City's way in the Champions League last week as they were knocked out on penalties against Real Madrid, but things certainly went their way in the EPL and FA Cup. Both Liverpool and Arsenal lost to hand City the title advantage, while they picked up a 1-0 win against Chelsea last weekend to book themselves a spot in the FA Cup final against Manchester United. With the Champions League out of the equation, they will be eager to at least wrap up the double.
I think that they will take one step closer to their fourth consecutive Premier League title on Wednesday evening against Brighton. City are just so much better than Brighton and I can see them coming out as 3-1 winners in this match.
