Tottenham had last weekend off because their supposed opponents, Chelsea, were busy losing to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. They return to Premier League action this weekend and welcome Crystal Palace to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Spurs are still in the hunt for a Champions League spot, while Palace will be looking to drag themselves another step closer to safety. Below you can find out how I think this match will play out.

🏆 Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Who Will Win?

Ange Postecoglou's Spurs team are playing some of the most entertaining football in the EPL this season, and they are picking up points as well, which is obviously the most important thing. Playing pretty football is always nice, but it is a results business at the end of the day. When it comes to form over the last ten matches, Tottenham are sitting in 4th place, having picked up 20 points from the last 30 that have been on offer. They are five points adrift of Villa in 4th spot, so need to pick up a win here to keep the pressure on.

Crystal Palace have one aim each season, and that is to make sure that they book themselves another season in the Premier League. With 28 points on the board at this stage in the season, I reckon that they need just three more wins in order to achieve their mundane aim. When it comes to the form table, they are currently sitting in 11th place with 12 points from the previous 30 that have been on offer. They are eight points above the Relegation Zone and will be confident of being able to avoid the drop.

When it comes to this match, I do not see Palace picking up one of the three wins that I think they need. Spurs have better players than their London opponents and are in much better form. Furthermore, they should have extra rest having had a week off. Everything points to a Spurs win, and I think the score will be 3-1 in their favour.

My Prediction: 🏆 Tottenham 3 Everton 1 ⚽

💯 Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace Match Odds

These two teams last met at Selhurst Park back in October, and Spurs walked away with all of the points courtesy of a 2-1 win. Spurs had 76% of the possession, but just the one shot on target, which resulted in a goal for Son Heung-min. Their other goal was a Joel Ward own goal.

How does this previous encounter and their current respective form alter the odds of some of the more popular betting markets that five of my favourites established and new UK betting sites are offering? Well, all is revealed in the following three tables.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Match Winner Odds

Anyone who follows the EPL closely will not be surprised to see that the bookies have Tottenham as the favourites to come away with the win in this match. This will be down to their better form and the fact that they are playing at home - they have won four of their previous five home matches. Furthermore, Crystal Palace have won just 3 of the 13 away matches they have played this season. Check out the match winner odds in the table below:

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Both Teams To Score Odds

Sometimes it is pretty obvious that both teams will be able to find the back of the net, and my five selected bookies believe that it is more or less a certainty that both Spurs and Palace will score in this game. As you can tell from my aforementioned scoreline prediction, I also agree with this. I will explain why in more detail in the next section of this guide. For now, below are the BTTS odds for this Tottenham vs Crystal Palace match.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace: Over/Under 2.5 Goals Odds

Since the bookies are adamant that Spurs will win and that both teams will find the back of the net, it will come as no shock to find out that the bookies believe that there will be at least three goals in this match. They also think that it is more likely that under 3.5 goals will be scored, which means that they are predicting a 2-1 win for the home side. You can find the over/under 2.5 goals odds in the table below:

✔️ Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace - Betting Tips

If you are betting with free bets or your own hard-earned money, you need to find those value bets that will give you the best bang for your Sterling. It is always wise to check out betting advice from experienced tipsters, so below are my football betting tips for this Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace match.

  • Tip 1: Bet on Spurs to win: Out of the last ten Premier League matches that these two teams have played against each other, Palace have won just the once, while also managing to draw two. This is not a record that will instil much confidence in those of a Palace persuasion. Furthermore, Palace have drawn two and lost three of their previous five away matches. Everything is pointing to a Spurs win, and you can find odds of 1.50 at 10BET Sport.
  • Tip 2: Bet on both teams to score: In 85% of Spurs' home matches this season, both teams have managed to find the back of the net. When it comes to Palace's away games, both teams have scored in 62% of their matches. Nine out of Spurs' previous ten matches have seen both teams score, while the same can be said about eight of Palace's previous ten games. For me, both teams scoring is highly probable, and you can find odds of 1.65 on offer at BetUK Sport.
  • Tip 3: Back Richarlison to score: It took the Brazilian a good number of games to get off the mark for Tottenham, but when he found his first goal, the floodgates opened. He now has 10 goals to his name this season and seems to be full of confidence. I think he will cause Palace's defence a load of issues, and I think he will find the back of the net. Those who agree can find odds of 2.35 for Richarlison to score at any time in this game.
  • Tip 4: Bet on Spurs to win 3-1: Palace should get on the scoresheet as Spurs tend to leave themselves open to counterattacks, but I expect Spurs to have too much for the Eagles in attack. I can see the likes of Richarlison, Son, and Maddison causing all sorts of damage, and those who also want to back a 3-1 scoreline in Tottenham's favour can do so with odds of 9.75 at Betiton Sport.

N.B. One final bit of advice that I must give you all is to remember to gamble responsibly and to not gamble with money that you know you cannot afford to lose.

Tottenham Hotspur Update

Football is supposed to be entertaining to those who sit down to watch, and Postecoglou has been doing his best to ensure that his Spurs team are full entertainment value. They are one of the top scorers in the league this season, notching up 52 goals in 25 matches, but they also concede quite a few due to their attacking approach.

With only Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal outperforming them when it comes to recent form, this approach is definitely working for the Aussie and his charges. Below are the previous five league results for Spurs:

2️⃣Crystal Palace Update

Oliver Glasner got his Crystal Palace managerial career off to the best possible start at the weekend as they picked up a 3-0 win over Burnley. At one point it looked like things were heading towards a stalemate, but three goals in the space of about 10 minutes sealed the points for the home side. This win gives them an eight-point cushion above the Relegation Zone, and they know that just three or four more wins will seal them another season in the EPL.

In all honesty, they can probably consider themselves to be all but safe now as there are definitely three worse teams than the Eagles this year. Below are the five last EPL results for Palace:
