I actually had Czechia to finish in second place behind Portugal in this group ahead of the competition, and they can still do exactly that if they end up beating the Turks and Georgia do not beat Portugal. Czechia defended stoically against Portugal in their opening match and were just minutes away from a valuable point, but they were then below par against the Georgians and had to settle for a point - they were fortunate not to lose in injury time.
Turkiye are always dark horses at the Euros, but they are at risk of being eliminated in the Group Stage for the second edition in a row. They got their campaign off to the best start possible with a very entertaining 3-1 win over Georgia, but they were brushed aside by Portugal last time out, losing 3-0 - it could have been even more.
