The All Blacks will go into this final very confident of being able to win a fourth World Cup title due to their very good head-to-head record against the Springboks. They will know that they will be in for a tough game, but they also have history telling them that they know how to overcome South Africa. They did lose by a record score to South Africa in a warm-up match before the World Cup, but I do not think that will have an impact on the outcome.
The Springboks have had a really tough quarter-final against France and then England pushed them closer than anyone predicted they would. There is no doubt that these two wins would have taken a lot out of South Africa, and they will have to draw on their reserves for one last push for glory. New Zealand, on the other hand, had a walk in the park against Argentina in the semi-finals, so they will be fresher heading into this match. A rested New Zealand is not a team that anyone will relish facing.
With the way that New Zealand have been purring in the latter stages of this competition and the fact that they had a much easier semi-final, my money is on New Zealand to win and claim their 4th title. How much will they win by? Well, it will be quite close, but I am going to say New Zealand by 7 points.
