Both teams will enter Saturday's match with some star players missing. The Welsh will not be able to call upon Taulupe Faletau for the rest of the competition due to an arm injury, while Pablo Matera will be missing for the Argentinians after suffering a hamstring injury in their win against Japan.
Wales won all of their Pool C matches, finishing top of the pile with 19 points, while Argentina won three of their four Pool D matches, losing to 14-man England in the opening game of the group. These two teams, in my opinion, are very evenly matched, so I am expecting a closely-fought battle between them.
However, out of the two, I have been more impressed by Wales, so my prediction for this match is for Wales to win by around 10 points and make it to the semi-finals - not many would have put money on that happening at the start of the tournament.
